How to use RSS feeds

What is an RSS Feed?

An RSS feed is a way to automate information gathering. When a website updates itself with new information, the information is sent to your RSS reader, and you can see it without having to visit the website. A typical RSS feed button looks like this:

When you see this button, click on it to subscribe to its RSS feed. If you can't find this button, look for a link called "feeds," "RSS feeds," or "news feeds."

RSS stands for:  Really Simple Syndication
